Here’s a new take on branded content — AwesomenessTV and Kohl’s Department Stores are working together to launch a new fashion line, S.o. R.a.d., which will be accompanied by an original YouTube series, “Life’s S.o. R.a.d.”
The AwesomenessTV original series will debut first, on Septebmer 19. The scripted series will run for four seasons, starring a different pair of YouTube influencers in each one. First up, Amanda Steele (aka MakeupbyMandy24 on YouTube) and Lia Marie Johnson, who will expound on their part in the making of the S.o. R.a.d. fashion line, which will echo the style trends of “urban edge, Tokyo pop, and pretty princess.”
The S.o. R.a.d. line itself will come to Kohl’s stores, both physical and digital, on September 22. Clothing items will range from $30 to $48.
Following seasons of “Life’s S.o. R.a.d.” will follow different storylines in addition to different influencers. Season one will be available on Steele and Johnson’s YouTube channels as well as on AwesomenessTV.
AwesomenessTV currently has over 1.7 million subscribers. Steele alone has about that many, and Johnson has over 1.2 million. You can check out the “Life’s S.o. R.a.d.” trailer below:
