A recent announcement by YouTube on Google Plus divulged the latest feature for YouTube-loving Chromecast users. Now, a new queuing feature on the video site will allow users to create YouTube playlists that they can stream directly to Chromecast.
This means that viewers can continue to cast one YouTube video while actively looking for others to queue up next…without having to open an unimaginable number of tabs. It’s a relatively small update for YouTube, but an important one, as it allows the site to improve on its connected-TV streaming experience, which to date has largely been difficult on users.
