Australian rapper Iggy Azalea was the top artist on YouTube this summer.
The online video site has released a chart that lists the top-10 artists and songs in the US this summer (from Memorial Day to Labor Day), when measured by number of streams across both the official music video and claimed versions of that song.
Number one on that list? Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy.” While that was her only song on the list, Azalea also shows up for a verse on Ariana Grande’s smash hit “Problem,” which ranked third this summer on YouTube.
Another thing to note: People still love Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” which ranked fifth. The official music video of that song has accumulated more than 2.07 billion views to date.
Nicki Minaj, who turned a few heads with the music video to her song “Anaconda” (don’t even need to tell you that it’s NSFW), which helped her crack the top 10 even though the video was released on August 19.
