Ora.TV, the online video network behind shows like “Larry King Now” and “Off the Grid with Jesse Ventura,” has inked a pact with Page Productions to exclusively distribute every episode of “Beer Geeks,” a TV series that explores the world of craft beer.
Centering on Michael Ferguson, a leading figure in the world of craft beer and current director of brewery operations for BJ’s Restaurants, “Beer Geeks” travels the country to spotlight “the wide range of remarkable characters who…dedicate their lives to making the most distinctive beers in the world.”
The series was created and executive produced by David Page and Roberta Brackman, the producers best known for their hit Food Network series “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.” Nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2014, it originally aired on TV via syndication deals with stations owned by Hearst, Gannett, Meredith, and Lin Media, among others.
All 22 episodes will be available on Ora.TV, beginning with the first two episodes on September 18. The following episodes will roll out on a weekly basis.
Launched in 2012 alongside “Larry King Now,” which also streams on Hulu, Ora.TV is backed by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim.
