The next NATPE conference in Miami will have a “market within a market” exclusively devoted to digital content, the industry organization announced today.
With the goal of connecting content providers with various types of domestic and international buyers and sellers, NATPE will provide opportunities to conduct deals with multi-channel networks and other digital content platforms in “a dedicated digital market setting, including exclusive screening theatres.”
In recent years, NATPE has attempted to adapt to the shifts in the entertainment business with the arrival and growth of digital platforms and content creators. It’s reflected in theme selected for this year’s conference and marketplace — “Content Without Borders,” NATPE said.
The annual content market and conference will return to the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach from January 20–22, 2015. About 5,000 industry people are expected to attend.
