Digital radio platform iHeartRadio is embracing an alternate medium for the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Festival. Starting at 7pm PT on September 19 and going through the 20 in Las Vegas, the concert will stream live on Yahoo Live.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the concert will be available across platforms, as it will also air on The CW on September 29 and 30 and, of course, broadcast on more than 150 iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide.
iHeartRadio’s fourth year ushers in performances by Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Weezer, Iggy Azalea, Mötley Crüe, and many others. Special guest appearances range from actor Chris Pratt to Fergie and multiple cast members from “Orange Is the New Black.”
Partners of the iHeartRadio Music Festival include Macy’s, Jim Beam, The CW Network, and MGM Resorts International, among others. iHeartRadio is a digital platform of radio/television outlet iHeartMedia, which recently changed its name from Clear Channel. The company brings radio to users through a mobile app, on the web, and via broadcast.
