CNN Digital Studios has announced a new web series starring celebrity chef Roy Choi.
In “Street Food,” the chef will visit “cultural tastemakers” in and around the Hollywood ecosystem to get their perspectives on everyday trends and “how cultural movements are born,” according to the company. Guests scheduled to appear in upcoming episodes include fellow celebrity chef and noted traveler Anthony Bourdain, YouTube beauty guru Michelle Phan, and actor-director Jon Favreau.
Produced by CNN Digital Studios, “Street Food” will go live on October 13, debuting across CNN digital properties including CNN.com and its mobile and social channels.
Two other web series, previously announced by CNN Digital Studios, Dhani Jones’ “Be a Champion” and Dave Franco’s “Related,” are scheduled for early 2015 releases. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak of “Street Food.”
