Olga Kay now has her own app.
The new OlgaKay mobile app, available across both iOS and Android devices, offers access to all of the vlogger’s YouTube content, including videos from the OlgaKay (743,000 subscribers) and OlgaKayGames (118,000 subscribers) channels, as well as her other social media accounts. Users have the ability to follow along and engage with any post — YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. — from within the app.
Other user-centric features include push notifications, allowing Kay to direct users to a new piece of content anytime it publishes to the app.
The app was built for Olga Kay by Beachfront Media, which is one of several companies currently offering YouTubers the chance to extend their brands to mobile and connected-TV devices — though Beachfront appears to be much farther along than others. In recent weeks, Beachfront has also built apps for creators and channels like Jason Horton, Rachel Ballinger, and FightTips.
In addition to building apps, Beachfront also helps with monetization via native video and display inventory and e-commerce. Kay can sell inventory directly to advertisers, or rely on Beachfront for that.
While on iOS and Android now, the OlgaKay app is also meant for connected TVs, said Beachfront. Apps for Roku, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire TV are coming soon.
Olga Kay is repped by Untitled Entertainment.
