London-based YouTube multi-channel network BuzzMyVideos has secured $2.5 million in a Series A funding round from United Ventures.
Having signed a syndication deal with AOL in September, BuzzMyVideos will continue to expand its distribution options with the additional funding (though the company has yet to mention specifics as to how).
The network currently includes over 5,000 creators, with well over 15 million subscribers across its various channels. Bengu Atamer and Paola Marinone co-founded BuzzMyVideos in 2011, both of whom previously worked for Google and YouTube.
United Ventures has funded other digital enterprises, such as Cloud4Wi and AppsBuilder.
