Netflix continues to grow its stand-up comedy library with the latest special from Iliza Shlesinger. The comedian’s sophomore special, “Freezing Hot,” will premiere exclusively across all Netflix territories on Friday, January 23, 2015.
Shot at the Gothic Theatre in Denver Colorado, Shlesinger’s new set focuses on the “universally known struggles between men and women,” according to Netflix. The comedian will provide her observations on some of women’s best-kept secrets, including truths about first-date attire, fantasy break-ups, and their obsession with fall.
This is the latest stand-up special Netflix plans to debut as an “original,” following earlier sets from comedians like Chelsea Handler, Russell Peters, Aziz Ansari, Jim Jefferies, Chelsea Peretti, and Bill Burr.
Shlesinger’s debut special, “War Paint,” is already streaming on Netflix.
