On Christmas Day, LBD Productions, an independent Nashville-based production company, will launch the second season of “Johnny Dynamo,” a comedy series about a once-great TV actor who tries for a comeback.
The first season generated more than 6 million views for LBD. The second season, which will span 10 half-hour episodes, will also welcome actors Terry Kiser (“Weekend at Bernie’s”) and Tiny Lister (“The Dark Knight”) to the cast. Check out the trailer:
In addition to “Johnny Dynamo,” LBD just launched “Mr. Frost,” a new comedy series that follows the adventures of an unorthodox, crude, and eccentric radio personality working for a low-level station in Nashville. The show is available on LBD Productions’ LeftBrain.tv website, as well as via Vimeo.
“Johnny Dynamo” and “Mr. Frost” are the first two in a “long line” of projects currently in development or production at LBD, according to the company.
Next year, LBD will also debut “The Accidental President,” as well as begin production on a drama series called “Justis.” The company has also just wrapped production on its first feature film “The Body Sculptor,” which also stars Kiser.
