Vimeo will release new episodes of its first original series, “High Maintenance,” on February 5.
The series centers on a pot dealer in Brooklyn known as “The Guy” and the interesting, eccentric, and/or neurotic clients he come across, including a harried personal assistant who’s trying to buy weed for her boss and a misunderstood asexual magician.
Written, directed, and produced by married couple Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, who also stars as the dealer, the series was picked up by Vimeo for a six-episode second season, the first time the online video company has funded an original series or movie. The entire series, including the first three episodes of season two, are available via Vimeo On Demand and on HighMaintenance.tv.
The new batch of episodes will be available globally, with subtitles in German, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Hindi, and Japanese. Pricing is the same as it was before, $1.99 or 2.49 euros to rent each episode, or $7.99 or 6.49 euros to buy all three.
All 13 episodes of season one are available for free.
The thirteen episodes from Season 1 are available for free at HighMaintenance.tv.
