Viewbix has named Brian McFarland vice president of eastern sales, the first US appointment for the Israel-based interactive video advertising startup.
In the role, McFarland will lead on sales strategy, client acquisition, and management for Viewbix in North America. In particular, he will focus on growing the company’s enterprise client base.
He comes to Viewbix from in-screen ad platform GumGum, where he was VP of its Eastern Sales division. Prior to GumGum, he held sales roles at Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, and Say Media.
Viewbix recently raised $3 million and opened a sales office in New York, where McFarland will be based.
