Emmy-nominated online talk show “What’s Trending” is teaming up with Samsung once again to cover the annual International Consumer Electronics Show from Las Vegas.
For CES 2015, “What’s Trending” will serve as the official live-stream partner and producer for videos shot from the Samsung Smart Studio & Lounge. Situated alongside Samsung’s main exhibition on the show floor, the lounge is an invitation-only area for digital celebrities and the media to congregate, relax, and/or plug in. It will be open for the duration of CES, which ends on January 9.
Per the partnership, “What’s Trending” will shoot daily “Trending Now” news hits from the lounge, as well as a live stream from 2:30pm to 4pm PT. Segments will feature interviews with celebrities — digital and mainstream — attending CES, including Shaquille O’Neal, Nick Cannon, King Bach, Anthony Pettis, Dolvett Quince, Rohan Marley, and YouTube stars Austin Evans and Khail Anonymous.
All of this content, which will be hosted by “What’s Trending” co-founder and host Shira Lazar alongside Andre Meadows (BlackNerdComedy) and Elliot Morgan (formerly of “SourceFed”), will be available via the show’s YouTube channel.
“What’s Trending” will also be producing exclusive demos and coverage of Samsung’s show floor. These clips will be available on Samsung USA’s YouTube channel.
This is the third time “What’s Trending” has partnered with Samsung on such a collaboration.
