Hulu has renewed its original spoof on “The Real Housewives” franchise, “The Hotwives of Orlando.” Next time, however, the “Hotwives” will be in Las Vegas.
“Las Vegas was an obvious choice for the second season of the ‘Hotwives’ franchise because it’s a city built on broken dreams, fake boobs and real magic,” said executive producer Paul Scheer said in a statement. “Season two will focus on a new crop of wannabe socialites with some new faces as well as old faces that just look new.”
“Marry Me” writers Danielle Schneider and Dannah Phirman will return as producers for the second season of “Hotwives,” which will be once again executive produced by Scheer and Jonathan Stern (“Burning Love”).
Meanwhile, as Scheer suggested, there will be some changes to the main cast, featuring a new set of characters who live in Las Vegas. The Orland-set season one of “Hotwives” starred Casey Wilson, Angela Kinsey, Tymberlee Hill, Kristen Schaal, Andrea Savage, and Danielle Schneider.
“The Hotwives of Las Vegas” is distributed and produced by Paramount Digital Entertainment.
