A new season of “My Morphing Life,” created by and starring former Power Ranger Jason David Frank, will air on Con TV. The series follows Frank’s daily adventures, which can range from meeting with fans to base-jumping and other high-flying stunts. Directed, produced, and often shot by Frank himself, 11 new episodes of “My Morphing Life” will debut on Con TV in early March.
Made with the support of Saban Brands, which owns the Power Rangers brand, the first season of the series has garnered more than 1.5 million views to date. Its currently available on Bat in the Sun’s channel, which is part of the Machinima YouTube network.
The series is the third original programming commitment from Cinedigm and Wizard World, after the YouTuber-starring reality experiment “Fight of the Living Dead” and the Bruce Campbell-hosted game show “Last Fan Standing.”
In addition to original programming, Con TV will feature classic pop-culture and cult movies and TV shows enjoyed by the target audience.
Con TV is set to launch in early February. It will be available as a free ad-supported channel across a number of platforms, including online, mobile, and connected-TVs via Roku, Apple TV, Xbox, PlayStation, and Samsung Smart TVs. A subscription version, which will feature exclusive content, audience rewards, and ticketing opportunities for Wizard World-produced conventions, will also be available for $6.99 per month.
