Women’s lifestyle publisher PopSugar has promoted Eileen Carty to executive vice president of brand partnerships.
In the role, Carty will be responsible for revenue growth for PopSugar’s media division. She will also oversee and develop the PopSugar’s brand within the ad community, something she has been doing for PopSugar since joining the company in 2008. (Previously, Carty was head of East Coast sales.) In the new role, Carty will report directly to PopSugar founder and CEO Brian Sugar.
Her appointment comes at a time when PopSugar says it’s repositioning its sales team to focus more on brand partnerships in an effort to build “deeper relationships” with the advertising community.
