The 2015 YouTube Music Awards will take place on March 23, honoring the likes of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Sia, and Troye Sivan as well as featuring original videos from a collection of established and emerging musicians.
Unlike the initial YouTube Music Awards, which took place as a live event in New York City in late 2013, the second installment will be held entirely online, via a dedicated YouTube Music Awards channel. Winners have already been chosen based on stats like view counts, subscriber numbers, and engagement. They are:
In addition to honoring the winners, the YTMA will showcase new music videos, which will roll out on the platform at 10am PT on March 23. Vice will produce the whole program, which includes music videos from Cahoots, Charli XCX, Ed Sheeran, Martin Garrix, Max Schneider, Migos, Megan Nicole, Nicky Jam, and Shamir among others.
