Creator of beloved/despised cult classic “The Room,” Tommy Wiseau, has come out with a new series now available on Hulu Plus.
Called “The Neighbors,” the series stars Wiseau alongside…Wiseau, as the venerable actor/producer/director/writer has two starring roles in the sitcom. He plays the central character Charlie, who manages an apartment building full of an uncomfortable and incongruous cast of characters, and a drug-dealing tenant who wears a blond, shoulder-length wig that’s equally disconcerting as Charlie’s black, mullet-shaped one.
In a sense, the show is just like “Seinfeld,” or “Friends”…as seen through the eyes of Tommy Wiseau…so it’s like “The Room” but with way more characters and perhaps even more of a nonsensical storyline.
Hulu describes the demographic as “all inclusive,” and sure, why not?
The first four episodes of season one of “The Neighbors” are currently available to watch on Hulu Plus, so get on it! The demographic, after all, is you.
