Spanning 13 hour-long episodes, “Bloodline” follows the Rayburns, a family living in the Florida Keys, whose “secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home.” The series is headlined by Kyle Chandler (“Friday Night Lights”) and Ben Mendelsohn (“The Dark Knight Rises”), with other cast members including Sissy Spacek, Linda Cardellini, Sam Shepard, and Norbert Leo Butz.
“Bloodline” isn’t the first series Sony Pictures Television is producing for Netflix. The studio is also behind “The Get Down,” a musical series from Baz Luhrmann, and “The Crown,” a historical drama from Peter Morgan and Stephen Daldry. Both series are expected to debut on Netflix in 2016.
