Current “SNL” cast member and future star of Paul Feig’s “Ghostbusters” reboot Kate McKinnon has premiered a new web series on online comedy network Above Average and IFC.com.
Called “Notary Publix,” the comedy series centers on two notaries and the unusual cases and requests they have to deal with. Spanning six episodes, the series debuts on Above Average and IFC’s online video hub Comedy Crib. New episodes will be released every other Tuesday through the spring.
The series is co-created by and stars McKinnon and her sister Emily Lynne. Across its six episodes, it will also feature other talent from the “SNL” family, including Aidy Bryant, Beck Bennett, Jay Pharoah, and writer Paula Pell.
“Notary Publix” is co-produced by Above Average and IFC.com.
