YouTube’s next production and learning facility for creators and advertisers will be in Germany. The video giant has partnered with MET Film School to open YouTube Space Berlin.
As with its facilities in Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, New York, and Sao Paulo, YouTube will offer creators in Germany the chance to develop and create videos using high-end equipment, learn all of the vital tricks to growing an audience and making money on YouTube, and also connect with other creators in the process.
The facility will be available for free to German YouTubers as well as students at the MET Film School, one of the largest film schools in Europe.
YouTube Spaces are part of a broader initiative at the company to provide its native talent opportunities to create content and be successful on YouTube — which is important as the site wards off new and emerging players in video like Facebook and Vessel. In addition to providing production and educational resources, YouTube has been financing content made by some of its top stars, and promoting other top stars via online and offline marketing campaigns.
