Above Average is producing a documentary style series about life on the road for the lead singer of Bleachers, Jack Antonoff.
Called “Thank You and Sorry,” the six-episode series will follow Antonoff throughout Bleachers’ world tour, mixing footage of the bands’ shows with some scripted scenes featuring actors like Colin Quinn, Olivia Wilde, and Rosie Perez.
The series will focus on Antonoff as an “OCD germaphobe” (characteristics Wilde will also take on in her role). It will also feature Antonoff’s real bandmates as well as “a series of crazed managers,” who, based on the description, may or may not be fictional.
“Thank You and Sorry” will debut exclusively on Google Play, for free, on June 16. It’s available for pre-order now, and you can watch a trailer below:
Bleachers is currently touring in the US and will continue to do so on a new tour with Charli XCX, co-headlining “Charli and Jack Do America.”
