DigiTour Media has signed an exclusive deal with Vine stars Nash Grier and Hayes Grier to produce all of the duo’s live events globally in 2015 and 2016, including their upcoming world tour.
Per the pact, Nash Grier is also coming on board as creative director for DigiTour. With the role, he will executive produce, direct, and star in original series that air on DigiTour’s website and social media channels. The deal calls for him to serve as creative director for the next 15 months.
Primarily known for their Vine videos, the Griers have a reach of 42 million fans across all of their social channels, including Facebook and YouTube. They will next be seen at DigiTour’s fourth annual DigiFest NYC concert and festival, which takes place on June 6 and is expected to attract more than 15,000 attendees, according to the company.
Founded in 2010, DigiTour focuses chiefly on producing live events featuring YouTube, Vine, and other online stars. Its backers include Ryan Seacrest, Conde Nast parent Advance Publications, Allen DeBevoise*, Guy Oseary, and Ben Silverman.
