LIN Digital has named Jonathan Silverstein chief operating officer, a new position at the company.
In the role, Silverstein will oversee the growth and implementation of LIN Digital’s media buying, planning, creative, and advertising operations. He will work alongside LIN Digital’s chief strategy officer John McCarus and chief revenue officer Jamie Elden, and will report to Robb Richter, SVP and chief digital officer of LIN Digital’s parent company Media General.
Silverstein comes to LIN Digital from Greatest Common Factory, an Austin-based ad agency he co-founded in 2011. Prior to that, he was SVP and group account director at GSD&M, managing clients ranging from AT&T to DreamWorks Animation.
