Starting this summer, Music Choice will air programming produced by Omnia Media and its talent network across all of its on-demand channels and properties, including the Music Choice Play TV Everywhere service, Music Choice Video On Demand, and other Music Choice apps for mobile devices. Content set to arrive on the TV network include shows such as “BuzzVines,” “GlamBoothTV,” and “Arcade Cloud,” and videos from Omnia stars such as Karen Civil, Tiffany Ma, and Bugatti Beez.
As part of the deal, Omnia and Music Choice will also partner to co-produce original programming featuring Omnia talent. This will air across Music Choice properties and platforms that Omnia distributes to.
Omnia Media currently operates a network of more than 1,000 creators across music, gaming, women’s lifestyle, and entertainment. It has more than 80 million subscribers on YouTube, with monthly views topping 1.5 billion.
While it’s the first TV deal for Omnia, it’s not the first deal Music Choice has made with a YouTube MCN. Last year, the company cut a deal with Maker Studios to bring more than 500 hours of the MCN’s programming to its platforms.
