Like “AMC Movie Talk,” “Collider Movie Talk” will post episodes daily, along with weekly features such as “Opening This Weekend” and “Box Office Wrap Up.” John Campea will stay on as the host of the show and lead its production as a member of the Collider team.
All episodes will appear on Collider’s YouTube channel, as well as its website. AMC will continue as the show’s sponsor for Collider, and the two companies will cross-promote content on their respective social channels and web sites.
“Movie Talk,” which launched as an AMC show back in 2013, will mark Collider’s first video series. It’s Collider’s first deal in the wake of its recent acquisition by Complex, a “video-first” media platform founded by fashion designer/entrepreneur Marc Ecko that began its life as a print magazine in 2002.
“Collider has been a strong voice in the entertainment news space for over a decade, and it has been our goal through the acquisition to make video a more active part of our strategy,” said Scott Cherkin, EVP of business and product development at Complex, in a statement.
