Ovation Digital Arts, the digital arm of cable network Ovation TV, has inked deals with its YouTube channel partners Kuma Films and David Poland to produce a pair of projects that will premiere simultaneously on its linear TV and VOD outlets.

Inspired by Poland’s free-flowing interview series “DP/30: The Oral History of Hollywood,” “Celebrity Conversations” will feature the celebrity journalist conducting a series of interviews with high-profile Hollywood figures such as actor Jake Gyllenhaal and director Antoine Fuqua. This series will debut on July 22.
Launched as Ovation in 2007, the cabler was rebranded as Ovation TV after being picked up nationally by DirecTV in 2007. The network aims to reach multi-generational audiences with content that focuses primarily on the arts. Reaching 54 million homes in the United States, Ovation offers creators like Kuma Films (181k subscribers) and David Poland a larger stage than they have on YouTube, where their channels have 181k and 55k subscribers, respectively
