Fine Brothers Entertainment (FBE) announced today that it is expanding its executive team with the hires of Andrea Kinloch as VP of business development and Matt Labate as VP of its channel group.
Launched by sibling founders Benny and Rafi Fine, FBE has upwards of 12.98 million subscribers and 3.28 billion views on YouTube. It produces such hit online shows as “React,” “Emo Dad,” “Spoilers” and “MyMusic,” as well as truTV’s “Six Degrees of Everything” and Nickelodeon’s “ReactToThat.”
Kinloch will oversee all new business opportunities for FBE, ranging from branded entertainment to new distribution platforms. She comes to FBE from AOL, where she most recently served head of marketing and partner management, overseeing the marketing, PR, social media and talent partnerships for original video including Nicole Richie’s “Candidly Nicole,” James Franco’s “Making a Scene,” and Steve Buscemi’s “Park Bench,” among others. Before that, she served as GM of Heidi Klum’s partnership with AOL.
In his new role, Labate will oversee FBE’s growing collection of owned and operated digital channels. Prior to joining FBE, he served as VP of Creative for the creative agency REACH, where he oversaw video campaigns for clients such as Purina, Nestle and Walmart. Prior to that, Labate held a number of senior development and programming positions at Discovery Digital Networks.
Kinloch and Labate join a growing senior leadership team at FBE that includes COO and executive producer Jonathan Green and head of alternative television Brandie Tucker. Max Benator continues to serve as talent manager for Benny and Rafi Fine, as well as business partner and advisor to FBE.
