Canadian multi-channel network Much Digital Studios today announced the launch of three new campaigns for its first brand partners, Puma, Bell and Virgin Mobile Canada.
Launched in 2015, Much Digital is a division of Much, the pop culture and music-driven television network owned by telecommunications giant Bell Canada. Launched in May, it currently boasts 22 partners with a combined following of 2.1 million subscribers and over 10 million views.
Through its partnerships with Puma, Bell and Virgin Mobile Canada, Much creators will execute youth-focused branded content campaigns. It’s the first major campaign for the fledgling multi-channel network since it recently signed a fresh wave of online video and social talent. Beauty guru Melissa Merk will create a fitness guide to inspire young people as part of a promotion for sneaker manufacturer Puma, while other Much creators will participate in a back-to-school giveaway with Bell or music festival giveaways with Virgin Mobile Canada.
Much Digital Studios is still actively seeking new creator partners for its network, and based on a statement form managing director Dave Caporicci the MCN hopes its new slate of brand deals will help to entice independent creators looking for monetization opportunities.
“Much is known for creating impactful youth-targeted opportunities for brands in Canada,” said Caporicci in a statement. “These three activations are just the beginning of the opportunities Much Digital Studios can offer to new and existing partners.”
