Ad-free, on-demand non-fiction streaming service CuriosityStream announced today that it has launched a new channel on Roku players and Roku TV. It can be found in the Science & Technology category within the Roku Channel Store.
Launched in March 2015 by John Hendricks, who founded The Discovery Channel back in 1985, CuriosityStream is an SVOD service offering a thousand-plus title catalog of programming covering such topics as science, nature, history and the arts. It features original series including “A Curious World,” “Destination: Pluto” and “Curious Minds,” as well exclusive series such as “The Nano Revolution,” “Cosmic Front,” “Age of Robots,” “Tales of Nature,” “Quarx” and “Behind the Artist.”
Subscriptions to CuriosityStream are priced at $2.99 a month for standard definiton and $5.99 a month for HD.
