Hulu announced today that it is pushing back the premiere of “RocketJump: The Show” to Dec. 2. It was originally set to debut on Oct. 21.
Founded in 2010 by Freddie Wong (pictured), Matthew Arnold and Dez Dolly, RocketJump Studios is best known as the producers of the hit digital series “Video Game High School,” which garnered more than a billion views over the course of its three-season run. In April 2014, it signed a multi-year content deal with Lionsgate Television. “RocketJump: The Show” is the first project to emerge from that pact.
Wong and Arnold share directing duties on “RocketJump: The Show” with actor Clinton Jones, writer/actress Ashly Burch and series showrunner Ben M. Waller. Each of the show’s eight episodes center on an action set piece, ranging from a World War 2 bar brawl to a Western horse race, and will be accompanied by a behind-the-scenes making-of documentary.
