Over-the-top streaming service YipTV announced today that it is partnering with Latina lifestyle channel Latin Angels TV, starting with the gala opening for the latter’s new studio in Miami’s Wynwood Art District.
Based in West Palm Beach, Fla., YipTV targets the more than 40 million foreign-born people living in the U.S. with TV programming they’re used to seeing in their home countries, covering such verticalsentertainment, sports, news, lifestyle, music and other TV channels not typically seen in the U.S. It launched in May 2015 with 50 channels, and now offers nearly 100 channels. Subscription is $14.99 per month, with no long-term contracts or credit card required.
The core of YipTV’s lineup is Spanish-language channels such as ¡HOLA! TV, Canal Sur, Canal Tiempo, beIN Sports ñ, AZ Corazón, Caribvision, EuroNews Spanish, Tele Romantica, RCN Novelas, Tele Medellin, Mi Musica, Maya TV and LATAM Sports.
Latin Angels follows models, actresses and other famous Latinas as they travel to various exotic locales, including the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Jamaica.
