Women’s lifestyle multi-channel network Kin Community announced today that it has signed popular Canadian beauty influencer Rachel Cooper to a multi-year strategic partnership to grow her digital business across all social platforms.
Cooper’s YouTube channels RachhLoves (843K subscribers, 60M views) and RachhLovesLife (107K subscribers, 2.39M views) feature such video series as “Pinterest Hacks Tested,” “Everyday Makeup Tutorials” and “Hauls.”
“Her beauty and fashion focused videos, along with advice and lifehacks for balancing her life as a mom and entrepreneur, speak to a generation of millennial women looking for genuine, inspiring content,” said Rick Matthews, managing director for Kin Community Canada, in a statement.
Cooper joins a stable of Kin Community creators that includes Hannah Hart, Rosanna Pansino, LaurDIY, Casey Holmes, Rachel and Byron Talbott and Joy Cho.
Kin has an online audience of 42 million YouTube subscribers and 100 million social followers that, collectively, is 78% female. Founded in 2007, The Santa Monica, Ca.-based company is backed by Mayfield Fund, General Catalyst Partners, Rustic Canyon Partners, Atomico, Emil Capital and Corus Entertainment. In 2014, it opened a Canadian office in Toronto.
Cooper is managed by Megan Savitt and the STX Digital Management Group under STX Entertainment.
