Immersive video platforms from IM360 to NextVR have been putting viewers in the action with athletes. Now, 360-degree video live streaming social platform Spinnable plans to put them within virtual spitting distance of the catwalk with its coverage of L.A. Fashion Week (LAFW), from March 16 to 19.
Spinnable will live stream the action from Columbia Square in Hollywood (6121 Sunset Blvd.) in 360-degree video. Users will also be able to share their Fashion Week experience in 360-degree videos photos and videos on the platform, shot with a 360-degree camera or with the Pano mode on an iPhone or Android device.
Designers confirmed who’ll be showcasing their couture at L.A. Fashion Week include Ester Perbandt, Sav Noir, Marcelo Quadros, Michael Sta.Maria, Underlash Phlemuns, Toit Volant, Rose Cottage, George Styler, Dena Burton and Cosmogyral.
The black-tie opening night gala on March 16 will be hosted by E! Entertainment’s Sara Jane Crawford and feature a performance by Randy Jackson’s new band New District.
