Social media star Jamie Curry has signed with WME. The 19-year-old New Zealand native, known for vlogs and skits such “What’s In My Room” and “My Sister is So Annoying” on her Jamie’s World YouTube channel and Facebook page, has a cross-platform social reach of 12.2 million, according to Tubular Labs
Last year, Curry published her first book, “They Let Me Write A Book,” toured throughout New Zealand and Australia, and received a Nickelodeon Australian Kids’ Choice Award nomination for Favorite Internet Sensation (she lost to Troye Sivan). She is currently the number three comedic personality on Facebook, with nearly 10 million followers.
Curry joins a digital talent roster at WME that includes Grace Helbig, Cameron Dallas, Lilly Singh and the Fine Brothers.
She will continue to be repped by Imogen Johnson and Julie Cooper at New Zealand’s Johnson & Laird Management and attorney Danny Miller at Hirsch, Wallerstein, Hayum, Matlof & Fishman.
