Bent Pixels, a digital media company known for developing technology-based management solutions for brands and talent networks, has stocked its arsenal with a slate of new weaponry from Disney Digital Networks. Today the company announced the appointment of new executives specializing in branded content, talent, and sales to run the media company’s new Brand Solutions division. The senior staff members represent decades of digital media industry experience at companies including Disney Digital Network.
The hires include Nick Carreras who will serve as Vice President of Talent and Brand Strategy; Brandon Kraines, who has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Brand Partnerships and Solutions; and Louis J. Timchak III, who is now Vice President of Brand and Talent Sales.
Carreras, who most recently worked as Head of Talent Strategy at Disney Digital Network, is an experienced manager whose career has ranged from the traditional agency model to overseeing the careers of digital-first performers. He has worked with actors including Julie Bowen (“Modern Family”), Kyle Chandler (“Friday Night Lights”), and William H. Macy (“Shameless”), and influencers such as Markiplier, Shay Carl, and Timothy DeLaGhetto. In the new role at Bent Pixels, Carreras will lead a team of talent managers in helping influencers grow their businesses. He will also work closely with brand integration staff to create ideal partnerships.
Kraines, a new media executive with over 15 years of experience in traditional and digital content development and production, was the former Director of Integrated Marketing at Disney Digital Network. The new media veteran specializes in go-to-market branding, storytelling and concept development, as well as creator/advertiser relations and project management. He now leads strategic brand campaigns at Bent Pixels from ideation to completion.
Timchak is a digital media veteran with over 17 years of agency and sales experience. After heading up West Coast and later gaming sales for Maker Studios, the industry veteran spent nearly three years as Director of Digital Sales for Disney Digital Network. Prior to Disney, Timchak managed sales teams at IGN Entertainment, and has extensive experience in branded content, digital media, esports, influencer and social marketing. At Bent Pixels he will grow awareness of the company’s offerings for brands, including paid media, sponsorships and influencer marketing campaigns.
In addition to the new staff, media and advertising leader Todd Rosenberg is participating as Senior Advisor. Rosenberg previously ran the creator network at Maker Studios. Having spearheaded Disney’s content claiming strategy, the new senior advisor helped create an additional multi-million-dollar revenue stream for the content giant. He will now advise Bent Pixels on the delivery of technology-enabled managed services, including content protection and digital network administration.
