Following the NESN launch, Fubo Premier will be available at a special price to new subscribers throughout NESN’s footprint which include: Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County), Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. For these qualifying areas the service will start at $19.99 for the first two months, and bump up to $44.99 thereafter. Subscribers will have the ability to watch NESN live and record games on fuboTV’s cloud-based DVR. Eventually, fans will be able to use their fuboTV login and password to access NESN programming via the NESNgo website and apps.
This news comes after the company’s recent announcement of locking in a carriage agreement with NFL Media for NFL Network and NFL RedZone. In addition, the sports-focused OTT platform recently appointed Yale Wang to the position of VP, head of North American marketing. Most recently, Wang worked at Warner Bros. Digital Networks as VP and head of marketing for DramaFever – a subscription over the top (OTT) network – where he was previously colleagues with fuboTV co-founders Horihuela, David Gandler and Sung Ho Choi.
