PRØHBTD MEDIA, an online destination for cannabis lovers, is continuing its drive into video with the announcement of five new series and three livestreams. The new shows bring the creators of the popular Youtube channel Epic Meal Time (nearly 7 million subscribers) as well as the star of Buzzfeed’s “High Guys,” into the PRØHBTD MEDIA universe.
The shows will debut just as PRØHBTD MEDIA strengthens its production team with the hiring of new Senior Producer Jesse McKeil, a producer at Legendary Entertainment, who specializes in digital first content. The added content also comes at a period when the company is experiencing rapid growth in viewership. PRØHBTD MEDIA claims to have an average of three minutes view through time and almost 18 million video views across the network per month, compared with five million a year ago. This is combined with 1.4 million unique visits per month to prohbtd.com and a content library of more than 45 hours of cannabis thematic content.
“The growth in viewership is testament to our commitment to creating original content and working with emerging talent that resonates with today’s cannabis consumer,” said Chief Content Officer Joshua Otten. “Our slate recognizes that audiences are demanding recognizable formats and real emerging stars.”
