Netflix is continuing its business relationship with standup comedian John Mulaney (pictured). The streaming giant has tapped the comedian for another stand up special slated to launch May 1. It’s the first in a new multi-special deal between the streamer and the Emmy-winning comic.
The new special, which is titled “John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous at Radio City,” was filmed during a sold-out seven-night run at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan last month. Directed by two-time Tony nominee Alex Timbers, the standup act joins a growing list of standup specials from comedians including Dave Chapelle, Sarah Silverman, Norm Macdonald, and Kat Williams.
Mulaney, who use to write for ‘Saturday Night Live’ has been involved with multiple Netflix projects including “John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid,” and animated comedy series “Big Mouth.”
