Group Nine introduced GIA, Group Nine Insights Analyst and AI Wizard at its NewFronts Presentation today. GIA aims to help Group Nine improve content and publishing performance so that the audience’s interests are better represented.
“GIA is not only able to apply her data and insights to our content creation,” said President Christa Carone, who introduced the product on stage, “but is now going to help our advertising partners better align their campaign goals with our audiences.”
In addition to GIA, Group Nine announced 25 new projects across its digital brands NowThis, The Dodo, Seeker and Thrillist. Among in those 25 projects is “Seeker Universe,” which dives into outer-space related topics; “NowBreaking,” a made for Snapchat news series from NowThis; “Pet Project,” a series from The Dodo that puts the spotlight on elementary school kids and their best furry friends, as they share the adventures and moments that shaped their special relationship; and “America Takes the Wheel,” a weekly show that takes viewers to off-the-beaten-path locations from Bollywood bashes to BBQ festivals.
Group Nine also boasted stats from a Nielsen report which found that NowThis, The Dodo, Seeker and Thrillist reached nearly 85% of U.S. millennials and over 90% of Americans in Their 20’s last quarter.
