Fresno Unlimited, an entertainment company that develops premium programming using machine learning and AI to develop proprietary insights, welcomes Jean-Paul (JP) Colaco who joins the company as president of revenue and media. Colaco will be responsible for leading revenue generation and helping to create new models around premium TV and Film properties in the digital age.
“JP is one of those rare executives who has not only seen the future of television, he has helped invent it,” said Rob Goldberg, founder and CEO of Fresno. “He brings valuable experience growing innovative media companies and will be invaluable to the team as we continue building out our slate of programming and further expand distribution across multiple platforms and windows.”
Prior to his new position, Colaco held several other senior roles in media and technology positions. The industry veteran served as chief revenue officer for Jaunt VR, a global cinematic virtual reality company, where he was responsible for revenue generation and business development. Priory’s to that, he held the title of senior vice president of advertising, content and business development at Vessel, a short-form video platform that was sold to Verizon in 2016.
Additionally, Colaco was a founding senior management team executive for six years at Hulu as senior vice president, advertising sales and operations. During his time at Hulu, he grew ad revenue from zero to over $500 million in annual sales and helped direct the overall strategy of the company.
