Time will tell if Michael Flatley can dance his way out of this one.

The “Lord of the Dance” creator and “Riverdance” star, who’s scheduled to perform at President Donald Trump’s inauguration festivities on Friday, is being sued by a publicist who claims that Flatley has stiffed him on more than $42,000 in fees and expenses.

In the suit, filed in New York Supreme Court on Thursday, Origlio & Miramontez Company says that Flatley owes $42,246.56 for PR and theatrical press agent services related to his production of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games at New York’s Lyric Theatre between November 2015 and Jan. 3, 2016.

The breach of contract lawsuit alleges that the firm was supposed to be paid a $6,500 advance fee, plus nearly $30,000 for the 13-week run.

While the lawsuit says that the firm performed its duties and Flatley never raised any objections, none of the invoices have been paid. In addition to the above fees, the suit claims that another $6.393.99 in expenses is owed.

Origlio & Miramontez Company is asking for the money it says it’s owed, plus interest, and “such other, further and different relief as this Court shall deem just and proper including the costs, fees, disbursements and attorneys fee incurred herein.”

TheWrap has reached out to Flatley’s legal representative for comment.
