Miramax and Alliance Renew Canadian Partnership

Pact covers distribution for library titles and upcoming films such as “The Debt”

Alliance Films and Miramax  have renewed their distribution partnership, the two companies announced on Tuesday.

Under the agreement, Alliance will distribute library titles and upcoming films such as "The Debt" and "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark." 

The longstanding partnership has been in place since 1987. 

"The Debt" stars Sam Worthington and Helen Mirren. It will be released on August 31.

"Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" stars Katie Holmes and  is produced by Guillermo Del Toro. It will be released on August 12.
