Miramax Opens London Office; Joe Patrick to Head Worldwide Sales

Danny Goldman named senior vice president and head of sales, Europe

Miramax announced Thursday the opening of its first international office in London and that Joe Patrick has been promoted to lead Worldwide Sales.

Patrick, who joined Miramax in March as senior vice president, Domestic Television & Digital Sales, will continue to report to Miramax CEO Mike Lang. He will continue to work closely with Beth Minehart, SVP, Global Digital.

Miramax also announced that Danny Goldman has joined Patrick’s team as SVP and Head of Sales, Europe. Goldman will report to Patrick and be based in London, where the first international office will open later this month in historic Covent Garden.

"We are very pleased to have Joe take on a broader role, as his relationships and experience have proven extremely valuable. We are fortunate to have him on our team and look forward to his continued success in this new, expanded role," said Lang in a statement. "Danny brings tremendous experience and strong relationships, and we are thrilled that he will lead our London office day-to-day.  He is a creative, seasoned sales executive who has negotiated many licensing agreements and output deals with TV and digital clients throughout Europe."

Prior to joining Miramax, Patrick was executive vice president at MGM Worldwide Television Group, overseeing TV sales in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

Goldman was CEO of Power Television before joining Miramax. He previously spent 10 years at Sony Pictures Television as senior vice president of Sales, responsible for licensing movies and TV series to broadcasters across Europe.
