Sloan has been one of Romney's biggest backers in the movie business. He has contributed $2,500 to the former Massachusetts governor's campaign.
Sloan told TheWrap that he will co-host the event on March 27 and that plans to host an industry event for Romney if he secures the nomination.
Romney has visited Los Angeles shaking a tin cup before. The Republican frontrunner also raised an estimated $1 million at a December fundraiser at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
