The Producers Guild of America is going green with the launch of a website providing information on environmentally friendly products and services from vendors and providers.
The Green Production Guide is funded by Disney, Fox, NBC Universal, Sony, and Warner Bros. as part of the PGA Green Initiative. The goal is to increase sustainable practices in film and TV production.
“We are grateful for the tremendous studio support behind this vital initiative, which has the ability to effect tangible change and advance sustainable solutions," said PGA President Emeritus Marshall Herskovitz in a statement Wednesday.
More than 1,500 listings were on the site at launch, with more to be added on an ongoing basis.
