UPDATE – 3:20p.m. PST
Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina confirmed to E! News that her daughter left the Betty Ford Center earlier Monday. The actress, who is still on probation from her 2007 DUI, is reportedly moving to Venice, CA at least until her next court hearing on Feb. 25
Lock up your sons, daughters and yoga mats – looks like Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab.
Earlier Monday on CBS’s “The Early Show”, LiLo’s father Michael Lohan indicated that his daughter might stay longer. "It's going to be soon. I'm not going to say it's today, but it's a very controlled move," said the senior Lohan.
Attempts by TheWrap to contact Lohan’s representatives and the Betty Ford Center to confirm if Lindsay had left treatment were not returned immediately.
However, despite indications that Lohan may or may not stay in rehab longer than the three months she was sentenced to in the fall, the actress herself recently indicated that movement of some type was in hand. “Today is the first day of the rest of my life,” tweeted Lohan on Jan. 1. The actress then quoted Mahatma Gandhi before adding “One step at a time….”
Of course, after a year that saw Lohan spend more time in court, jail and rehab than in a leading role, those steps might include getting a job.
Despite good reviews for her short appearance in Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete” earlier this year, Lohan’s legal problems and addiction issues saw her lose or leave her lead role (depending on who you ask) in “Inferno,” the Linda Lovelace biopic.
Having said that, Lohan, who is expected to be in court for her next probation progress hearing on Feb. 25, will likely be returning to L.A. later today and that could mean she has more lined up than just out-patient meetings.
