In the middle of the MTV Movie Awards broadcast, hosts Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson broke out in a rap about the 25th anniversary of the show.
The highlight, of course, was the refrain, a reference to a widely misunderstood scene in Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio‘s “The Revenant.” “Leo got fucked by a bear,” Hart and Johnson repeated three times. “You’ll always remember where you were when Leo got fucked by a bear.”
The rap was accompanied by female dancers wearing open bear pajamas. The reference, of course, is to the extended sequence in “The Revenant” in which DiCaprio‘s 19th-century frontier character is violently beaten by a bear for several minutes.
The rap took the MTV Movie Awards’ characteristic shots at the Oscars — “celebrating movies that you’ve actually seen.”
The bulk of the rap was spent referencing the many other movies nominated this year.
