MTV is dispatching the hilarious cast of its sketch show, “Girl Code,” to ring in 2014. “Girl Code Presents: New Year’s Code” will air Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 10/9c.
The one-hour special will feature “Girl Code” star Carly Aquilino and MTV2’s “Guy Code” star Charlamagne the God live from New York City’s Times Square. They’ll stick around after the special until the clock strikes 12 and 2014 is upon us.
“I’m so honored to be a part of MTV’s New Year’s Eve special! It’s a dream come true. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t break my resolution within a half-hour, since I’ll be on TV wearing a dress and my resolution is to stop going commando,” Aquilino joked in a statement.

Added Charlamagne tha God, “I’ve been at home watching NYE specials for years thinking how cool that must be to host one and now I get the chance to get drunk and make a fool of myself on live TV.”
Also on the special, the casts of both shows will deliver their brand of the “code” for topics ranging from New Year’s Eve parties, midnight kisses, 2014 resolutions and how to recover from the hangover after the big day.
Amid the celebration, the cast will play games, highlight the best of 2013’s pop culture happenings and guest celebrities will share their New Year’s Eve Stories.

“Girl Code,” which features a cast of smart and funny women, gives female viewers tips for getting through the challenges of life and gives guys a window into how women think. It airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on MTV.
Charlamagne tha God also stars in his own MTV2 show, “Charlamagne and Friends,” which returns for its new season on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
